Sunshine Coast District 9 AA Office Closure. New literature ordering process.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

A Catholic Archdiocese policy review has led to the Tenancy for the Sunshine Coast District 9 AA Office to be terminated with a 3 month notice period given. Therefore, the Sunshine Coast District 9 AA Office at Buddina will be closing with AA needing to vacate the premises by the 8th of August 2018. The Monday Lunchtime Meeting is not effected and will still be held at the same venue.

The Office will remain open for a time but will not be ordering books for Groups from 16/5/2018. The Office will be selling the stock they currently have so please check with the Office before going elsewhere. The 12th Step phone diversion system will not be effected and the only impact on groups by the closure will be how they obtain literature.

Samford Weekend

Hello,

The flyer for 2018 is going out with the Pathfinder for June. People
wanting to stay at Samford for the weekend will be entitled to an
Early Bird Rate if booked and paid prior to 31st July.

Last year you attended the weekend, so we are letting you know today
that bookings are now open for on site accommodation. Like last year,
early bird fee is $100 + $20 for air conditioned room.

The 12 Concepts For World Service 2nd Workshop and Presentation

1st Workshop and presentation on Concepts 1-6 held on April 15th was reported as excellent.

2nd workshop is to be held at the same venue and will cover concepts 7-12.

April 29th.

10:00 – 3 pm.

Bring lunch to share.
